This area is noted in Perak for its
handicraft, which include the making of the labu a traditional water
pitcher made from local clay.
The traditional water pitchers here are slightly different from those
produced in Sayong becausre of the embossed design, which is unique and
attractive.
Other handicrafts for which this area is well-known for are the gold
thread embroidery still widely used as decorative and traditional presents
at wedding functions.
