Enticingly attractive Tasik Bukit Merah is another of nature's gifts to Kerian District. A
huge expanse of fresh water that stretches as far as your eyes can
see, the lake teems with common and rare fish species like the Ikan
Ubi, and the famous Golden Arowana, which is much sought after.
In an effort to attract and encourage more people to take up fishing
as a hobby or sport, the Resort has completed a two-acre Fishing
Park, one of the largest freshwater fish farms in Malaysia near the
jetty. For a nominal fee, even the most inexperienced anglers
can expect to catch a fish.
Laketown Anglers Card
As part of the future plans for fishing at the lake, we have
launched the Laketown Anglers Card, the first fishing card in
Malaysia and the Angler's Corner, the latest food and beverage
outlet with KTV at the Resort for anglers to gather.
The Laketown Anglers Card is designed to provide convenience and
enjoyment to the keen angler, as well as their family members.
The card allows the cardholder to enjoy many benefits and
privileges. He is eligible for complimentary hotel room
nights, boats for fishing on the lake and waterpark entry.
After the complimentary benefits are used up, he is eligible for
attractive discounts, such as a 30% discount on hotel rooms and
waterpark entry.
In addition, the cardholder can enjoy discounts at the retail shops,
the restaurants and EMKAY's Bukit Jana Golf Course nearby. |
